Our family has discovered the cutest little company: Baby LitBooks. Have you heard of them? I hadn't until recently, and now I see them all over on Facebook and Instagram. For good reason, too--they are awesome!
Have you ever wished you could share your favorite classic books with your small children? They sent Chloe and Cache this (adorable) matching game. I'm actually excited to get a chance to sit down and play with them, because the illustrations are so enchanting! The kids love turning each card over and discovering fun things like Romeo and Juliet, the Jabberwocky, pirates from Treasure Island, Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz characters, Don Quixote, Jungle Book animals, and more!
They have also loved flipping through the pages of these adorable board books. Cache is partial to the animals in The Jungle Book, and Chloe likes the "princess" in Romeo and Juliet. They both love talking about the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz book.
After they are done reading, Cache carefully loads the books back in his adorable Jungle Book book bag. He's been a little jealous of Chloe's recent acquisition of a pink purse...so this book bag has evened the playing field a bit for him. ;-)
Of course, these books are also perfect for little readers. Hazel is entranced by the illustrations and likes when I help her flip through the pages during tummy time. It really isn't ever too early to start reading to your babies! It's great for language development, and a million other things as well! (Not to mention it's a fun excuse to cuddle your tiny ones!)
