Homemade Bridesmaid Bouquets

Hey Everyone! So sorry I've been M.I.A. lately. Between my sister's wedding plans and moving, blogging has kind of taken a backseat. I'll have LOTS of great things to show you after the wedding--because it's going to be B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L, and on top of that, I have a bunch of great projects lined up for after I get settled in Albuquerque, so keep checking back! Don't abandon me!! :(

My most recent wedding project has been creating the bridesmaid bouquets. We went with fake flowers, because you can really find ones that look pretty real, they are about 100% cheaper than real flowers, and they won't wilt, so you can make them FAR in advance. And we are ALL about doing everything we can pre-day-of-wedding.

So without further adieu: Wribbon wrapped around stems:We still need to cut the bottoms of the flowers even--they were thick, and I busted my nice scissors trying to get them cut...I finally gave up. My dad's going to have to get out his table saw or something! :) (Maybe his pruners?)

Those are gorgeous. I saw them before I read that they weren't real...great choice.

When I got married to my first husband back in 1987, we also had 'not real' flowers and they were lovely as well and people gave us grief but oh well. They were planned and done ahead of time and lasted afterwards....

Again, those are beautiful!

Michelle--the flowers are from Hobby Lobby. All three of these bouquets cost me a grand total of $25.00. Pretty good, right? Good luck with your shower this summer. :)

So cute! It would be perfect for our Bring Spring Linky party over at Scraps N' Strings. Adorable!
