One Christmas tradition that goes on is that my mom used to always buy me a box of chocolate covered cherries for Christmas. After she passed away, my son has carried on the tradition.

Let's see, my Christmas tradition - our big meal on Christmas day is Southern breakfast with sausage, biscuits, gravy and my dad's heavenly scrambled eggs. It's delish!

Christmas tradition: one we've started for our kids is that Santa leaves a book about Christ's birth for us to read Christmas morning. Then we have to mail it back to Santa because it is his 'special' Christmas book.

We don't have a fireplace, so our girls (3 and 5 now) always hang a special set of keys on the door for Santa to get in. It's the last thing they do before they go to bed on Christmas Eve!

I'm actually looking into new family traditions now that my daughter will be old enough next year. However, my family used to always decorate the Christmas tree together and remember previous holidays. I will still do that once my daughter is old enough. And I already follow your blog!

A fun tradition we have is that on Christmas morning, we come down the stairs Oldest to Youngest, and then open presents Youngest to oldest!

I remember standing at the top of the stairs as a child with my brother and sister just waiting, in anticipation, of my mother to call us down to see what Santa brought. Would totally go back to those days in a heartbeat!

Our favorite Christmas tradition is hosting a family who is a little down on their luck to Christmas Eve dinner with our family. We all go to our church for our Candlelight Service and then we come home and all enjoy dinner together. In fact, we met the family that we currently host, and this will be their 5h year with us!

I don't know if it is our all time favorite, but I think this years favorite tradition is going to see the live nativity at our brother's church. This year our brother and sister-in-law were playing Mary and Joseph. It is really impressive and is such a real way to show the kids the Christmas story. Thanks so much for the giveaway.

One fun tradition is that we check the kids out of school around 11 (before lunch) and take them to see Santa and then we have lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Then we take them back to school. We have so much fun and in the middle of the day during school the lines are short to see Santa.

Our favorite tradition is to drive around and look at all the pretty lights on Christmas Eve. My 9 year-old DD was almost in tears when she thought we might not be doing it this year!
